Overcoming Shyness - Shyness No Longer

Please contact Linda  to find out when this  programme is available again in your area.

The Programme

‘Shy No Longer’ is a ten week programme which offers the chance to find ways of overcoming many forms of shyness. You will find ways of dealing with situations that have worried you in the past and be able to reduce the negative feelings.

Who Runs ‘Shy No Longer’?

The director and a team from Clearly Counselling will run the programme. They have brought together their various skills to create the programme.

The ten weeks are largely based on a Cognitive Behavioural Approach to working with others in a way that is not threatening.

People taking part will get the chance to discover how to enjoy situations that once felt uncomfortable along with a small group of other people. You will not have to meet everyone on the course at once if the thought of that makes you feel shy.

You Are Not Alone

Many, many, people from every walk of life face situations in which they feel shy. Social situations can feel like a nightmare. They will not want to be there or be silent hoping they will become part of the wallpaper. People at work will have jobs, and situations, that have to be faced and even after years the stomach still rumbles and there is quaking in the shoes.

Surprisingly it is possible to overcome these fears and the anxiety. Confidence is there to be embraced along with the growth in confidence wherever you go.

So What is Your Experience of Shyness?

Shyness, or feeling uncomfortable with others, is a negative feeling of a focus on yourself -add in some adrenalin and you are in stress mode and uncomfortable.

If you experience shyness  please contact Clearly Counselling.
